Product Description
The ADIO 10 is an interconnection module from Alpha Innovations' UCC (Universal Command & Control) product line. It acts as an I/O extension card that connects to the UCC Core module to collect real-time data from DC power systems.
Key specifications
- 8 digital inputs
- 4 SELV voltage measurement inputs
- 2 shunt inputs (current measurement)
- 2 temperature sensor inputs (NTC-based)
- 8 relays
- 8 output LEDs for alarms
Primary application
DC systems management — the ADIO 10 interfaces directly with batteries, rectifiers, and other DC equipment, feeding measurement and alarm data back to the UCC Core for monitoring and control via COMPAS.
Part of a modular family
For applications requiring more digital inputs and temperature monitoring without voltage/current measurement or relays, the ADIO 07 offers 24 digital inputs and 8 temperature sensor inputs (NTC-based). Additional ADIO card configurations are available on request.

FAQ
An interconnection module is a hardware component that links sensors, actuators, and other field equipment to a central controller, translating physical signals (voltage, current, temperature, digital contacts) into data the controller can read and act on.
The ADIO 10 is an I/O expansion module for the UCC. It collects voltage, current, temperature, and digital input signals from a DC power system, and drives relay outputs for alarms and control.
It plugs into the UCC rack, which communicates via CAN, RS485, RS232, USB, and LAN. Multiple ADIO cards can be added to a single UCC depending on the monitoring requirements of the installation.
Typical applications include batteries, rectifiers, converters, and other DC equipment, wherever voltage, current, temperature, or digital alarm signals need to be captured and managed.
