Product Description

The ADIO 07 is an interconnection module from Alpha Innovations' UCC (Universal Command & Control) product line. Like the ADIO 10, it acts as an I/O extension card connecting to the UCC Core module, but is optimized for applications requiring high digital input density and temperature monitoring rather than voltage/current measurement.

Key specifications

  • 24 digital inputs
  • 8 temperature sensor inputs (NTC-based)

Primary application

Large-scale digital signal and temperature monitoring — the ADIO 07 is well suited to installations with numerous alarm/status contacts and temperature points to track, feeding data back to the UCC Core for monitoring and control via COMPAS.

Part of a modular family

For applications also requiring voltage and current measurement plus relay outputs, the ADIO 10 offers 8 digital inputs, 4 SELV voltage inputs, 2 shunt inputs, 2 temperature sensor inputs, and 8 relays. Additional ADIO card configurations are available on request.

FAQ

An interconnection module is a hardware component that links sensors, actuators, and other field equipment to a central controller, translating physical signals (voltage, current, temperature, digital contacts) into data the controller can read and act on.

The ADIO 07 is an I/O expansion module for the UCC. It captures a high number of digital input signals alongside temperature readings, making it suited to systems with many alarm or status points to monitor.

The ADIO 07 focuses on digital input density and temperature monitoring, with 24 digital inputs and 8 temperature sensors, but no voltage/current measurement or relay outputs. The ADIO 10 is built for DC systems management, combining voltage, current, and temperature measurement with digital inputs and relays.

Typical applications include systems with a large number of digital alarm/status contacts and multiple temperature points, such as extensive battery racks or distributed equipment cabinets.
